Sarah is obsessed with all things workplace transformation and change, especially workplace wellbeing; employee and customer experience; product and service development; and culture, community and learning. She is excited to join Furman as the new Assistant Director for the Center for Innovative Leadership.
Prior to Furman, Sarah spent 17 years at Accenture driving market innovation and strategic positioning through product and service development across multiple industries and functions. Once those products and services were developed, she designed learning and development experiences for thousands of consultants to engage, learn, and adopt new products, services, and ways of working.

All along the way, Sarah was always the leader that took on the white space projects (the ones that hadn’t been done before) and built successful and motivated teams to bring innovative ideas to life through extensive research and design thinking processes followed by engaging social, digital and live learning experiences and programs to encourage adoption and change.

Sarah is also a thought leader in the workplace wellbeing space as the Creator and Founder of Dreamgarten, which provides wellbeing services focused on chronic stress and burnout. She developed an evidence-based methodology for managing and recovering from burnout using mindfulness and design thinking to help people learn how to deal with the stress in their bodies as well as reframe the stressors that cause stress in the first place. Sarah offers speaking engagements and workshops as well as custom-tailored offerings for recovery and healing. As part of her outreach, she engages a thriving community through various platforms and has established partnerships with wellbeing and mental health professionals worldwide.

Before joining Accenture, Sarah was chosen to be part of the Citigroup Leadership Development Program and received her MBA from the Kogod School of Business at American University in Washington, D.C.
