Marra Edwards ’23, from Columbia, S.C., earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in English and Africana Studies. Since entering sixth grade and continuing through the end of the 2022-23 school year (11 years total), Marra has competed on the mock trial circuit. At Furman, she served as the President of the Mock Trial team, Vice President of the Student Diversity council, and member of Dins Vote, Furman’s chapter of the NAACP, and the Student League for Black Culture. This will be Marra’s sixth summer with Top Mock, having participated as a camper for two years and a counselor for three years. In 2023-24, Marra will take a gap year, which includes competing at Trial By Combat 2023, studying for the LSAT, and visiting law schools.
