Angie Littlejohn is the founder of LJ Higher Education Consultants and General Counsel for the University of the People, an online international university. Most recently Angie served as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Internal Operations at Virginia Tech, leading the ACC Network formation and serving as the legal liaison for the athletics department. She is the former Furman University General Counsel and Executive Associate Athletics Director. During her time at Furman she served as a Mock Trial Coach and recently returned to Furman as the Head Mock Trial Coach.

Angie has been a life-long leader and supporter of collegiate athletics. From her early teens she has worked with CBS Sports, ESPN, Fox Sports, and Raycom Sports as a statistician, spotter, stage manager, and score box operator. She has worked in sports information, television, and collegiate game operations at all levels of athletics.

During her summers and immediately following law school, she continued her sports law studies under her longtime mentor and friend, Dr. Terry Don Phillips at Clemson University. From there she joined the staff at Presbyterian College, overseeing all academics for student-athletes, as well as serving as a special advisor for Presbyterian’s successful transition to Division I Athletics.

Angie completed her bachelor’s degree in History at the University of Virginia, where she continued her work in athletics television and with UVA’s Sports Medicine. She earned her Juris Doctor at Washington and Lee University School of Law.
