Alden Transfer Scholarship
The Alden Transfer Scholarship is a two-year scholarship awarded on the basis of academic achievement and potential success as a Furman graduate. The Alden Transfer and Special Recognition scholarships require only the admission application for consideration.
Transfer applicants must apply for admission by January 15 to be considered for the Alden Scholarship. Transfer students who apply after February 15 will still be considered for any Special Recognition scholarships based on the strength of the admission application.
Furman Scholars Program
- $20,000 in some form of institutional merit scholarship
Students are nominated by their guidance counselor their junior year, based on their grades, standardized test scores, and extracurricular activities. If an admitted applicant is eligible for any Furman scholarship in excess of $20,000, the higher scholarship will be awarded and will replace the Furman Scholars Scholarship.
