Curb your car! Just bike or walk.

The Furman campus is a convenient place to walk and bike. Furman provides a variety of alternative transportation options to get around on and off campus such as bike rental programs, the Greenlink public bus, shuttle services including the Paladin Trolley, SafeRide, and a student shuttle, and a very walkable campus. The Swamp Rabbit Trail serves as a great connector for the university community to have safe and easy access to the nearby cities of Travelers Rest and downtown Greenville. If students are not able to bring a bicycle to campus, they can rent a bicycle from Paladins on Bikes (FUPOB) for the semester through the Shi Institute or borrow a bicycle on an hourly basis from the Physical Activity Center (PAC).

Greenlink Bus System

The Greenlink bus stop sign and bench are located by the main entrance gates. The routes connect to popular locations such as Cherrydale Shopping Center, downtown Greenville, and Haywood Mall. Furman pick up times are: Monday-Friday from 5:50am-6:50pm and Saturday from 9:00am-6:00pm. The Greenlink bus also provides bike racks to accommodate bicyclists.
