The IES Abroad Vienna Music Program is ideal for students majoring or minoring in Music with courses in Music History, Music Theory & Composition, Performance Studies, German Language, and Area Studies (including all courses offered through the European Society & Culture Program). Students will have access to private lessons, new practice rooms, instrument storage, local instrument rental, access to IES Steinway D grand piano, and our Music Performance Workshop. If students have advanced German language skills, they can also enroll in courses at the Universit\u00e4t Wien. Students also have the opportunity to participate in an internship or field experience placement and accompanying academic seminar in areas such as music research, arts and culture, business, education, and public service.
