For the first time, the awards were presented during the Greenville Chamber\u2019s Annual Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Summit.<\/p>\n<p>The 2021 Upstate Diversity Leadership Awards recipients are:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>K-12 School: William \u201cBill\u201d T. Wylie Valued Lives Award for School Excellence \u2013\u00a0<b>Sterling School<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Outstanding High School Student \u2013\u00a0<b>Kori Gamble<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Outstanding College Student \u2013\u00a0<b>Tyler McDougald<\/b>, Clemson University<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding Nonprofit Organization \u2013\u00a0<b>Mosaic Educational and Arts Program<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Outstanding Business \u2013\u00a0<b>Jordon Construction Company<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Calder D. Ehrmann Outstanding Individual \u2013\u00a0<b>Charlene Cheeks<\/b>, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Upstate Diversity Leadership Awards originated as part of a capstone project in the 2004 Upstate Class of the Riley Institute\u2019s Diversity Leaders Initiative.
