In her essay published in the <a href=\"https:\/\/greenvillejournal.com\/op-ed\/letter-to-the-editor\/student-op-ed-lets-heal-division-through-curiosity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Greenville Journal<\/a>, she recommends looking for lower-stakes opportunities for conversations with loved ones to preserve relationships. She also urges readers to treat potentially divisive topics and discussions as opportunities to learn from others by prioritizing \u201ccuriosity over being right.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"news-quick-view-block-content\">\n<p>Enghauser\u2019s op-ed was part of an annual writing competition organized by The Riley Institute at Furman University.
