There\u2019s something special about the book. It has her mother\u2019s voice.<\/p>\n<p>The recordable storybook is part of the South Carolina Department of Corrections (SCDC) program \u201cRiley\u2019s Readers,\u201d allowing incarcerated parents to record themselves reading books to their children and grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>The program, first called \u201cA Mother\u2019s Voice,\u201d was launched in 2016.
