Data is collected for the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) by information entered into the SC Data Hub. This online reporting system was created by American Institutes for Research, located at 10 S. Riverside Plaza, Suite 600 |Chicago, IL | 60606. Once entered, information is compiled into reports offering charts and graphs, that provide clear information in regards to program goals/effectiveness. Specific information concerning student and adult enrollment/attendance is entered by Project Directors. Classroom teachers for enrolled students complete a survey in the SC Data Hub, based on school day observations and assessments. Information provided by teachers is used to measure outcomes based on goals/objectives, required by the SCDE. The Project Director also gathers data from school sources and surveys provided by Title I, to evaluate grant specific data, identified in the goals/objectives by the school. Our project joint partner, The Clemson University Department of Public Health Sciences also collects data from both students and families in regards to our health and wellness objectives. This information is shared with the MMI to determine program effectiveness.
