Fourth Annual Dick and Tunky Riley WhatWorksSC Award Celebration

Presented by the Riley Institute and South Carolina Future Minds

On October 2, 2014, former U.S. Secretary of Education Dick Riley named the Center of Excellence to Prepare Teachers of Children of Poverty as the winner of the Dick and Tunky Riley WhatWorksSC Award for Excellence. Finalists Communities in Schools of Greenville County (CIS) and Reach Out and Read South Carolina were also recognized. Special guest Linda O’Bryon, president and CEO of South Carolina ETV, joined Secretary Riley for an on-stage conversation.
