Seventh Annual Dick and Tunky Riley WhatWorksSC Award Celebration

On October 24 2017, former U.S. Secretary of Education Dick Riley named the Public Education Partners’ Make Summer Count (Greenville County) as the winner of the Dick and Tunky Riley WhatWorksSC Award for Excellence. Finalists Camp iRock and Innovate! Intervention Program at AJ Whittenberg Elementary were also recognized. Special guests Representative Rita Allison, Representative James Smith, and Linda O’Bryon, president and CEO of South Carolina ETV, joined Secretary Riley for an on-stage conversation about current issues in public education.
