Fifth Annual Dick and Tunky Riley What WorksSC Award Celebration

Presented by the Riley Institute and South Carolina Future Minds

On October 14, 2015, former U.S. Secretary of Education Dick Riley named the Teacher Cadet Program as the winner of the Dick and Tunky Riley WhatWorksSC Award for Excellence. Finalists Parents as Teachers SC and Reach Out and Read Carolinas were also recognized. Special guests Linda O’Bryon, president and CEO of South Carolina ETV, and Molly Spearman, current South Carolina State Superintendent of Education, hosted a conversation on public education.
