Hometown:  Harrisonburg, VA

Education: Christopher Newport University, BA in psychology, Spanish minor

Favorite Activity in Greenville:  I love walking around downtown and exploring different restaurants and coffee shops. The variety of food is overwhelming, in the best way!

Favorite Greenville Restaurant: I am a sucker for any café/ coffee shop that is not a chain. Lately I’ve been enjoying a good latte from Coffee Underground!

Favorite Furman Tradition: Homecoming!

Best Thing about Furman: The Furman Advantage is such a unique learning experience that sets Furman apart from other universities. The personalized pathway to graduation, mentorship, internship and study away opportunities all serve to enrich classroom learning. These elements are key in creating a meaningful and impactful undergraduate education experience.

Hobbies/Interests: I have always loved reading and spending time outside. Enjoying a good book on the beach or in the park is a perfect day for me!

Best piece of advice for prospective students:  Don’t be afraid to ask questions about Furman or the application process! This is a big step and it is ok to make sure you are receiving answers to all your questions and being thorough in your research. (Also, visit campus!)

Random/fun fact about you: I enjoy creating charcuterie boards to share with friends and family. I enjoy every step of the process from picking out ingredients at the store to assembly to enjoying with loved ones.
