Jennifer Johnston is a middle school English-language arts teacher at the Charles Townes Center for highly gifted students in Greenville County. She is also a National Board certified teacher in English language arts.

At Furman University, Johnston is an instructor with the Graduate Studies department, teaching the first of two courses for teachers interested in earning their endorsement to teach gifted, talented and honors level courses. Outside of Furman, she also teaches Yoga.​
