Daniel S. Sanders, Jr. is a partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough. He works out of the Greenville and Atlanta offices and represents clients in corporate and litigation matters.

From 1996 to early 2018, he worked for Michelin North America. He served many roles in the U.S. and France, including as Vice-President, General Counsel & Secretary and Vice-President Internal Audit and Risk Management. Prior to Michelin, he practiced law in Atlanta with King & Spalding and Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough.

Dan is a Board member (and former Board Chair) of the Greenville YMCA. He also served 8 years as a Trustee of Christ Church Episcopal School and 2 years as Board member for the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce.

He is a 1986 Furman graduate and earned his law degree in 1989 at the University of South Carolina School of Law (where he received their 2018 Compleat Lawyer Award ).

His wife Suzanne Von Harten Sanders is a 1988 graduate of Furman. Their son Daniel is a 2016 Furman graduate; son Will is in the class of 2019.
