Dake Wang has studied light-matter interaction at nanoscale for more than a decade with an emphasis on optical spectroscopy and characterization of semiconductor nanomaterials. His research has been published and cited in journals across the globe. In the classroom and lab, Wang teaches courses on physics and experimental methods as well as a First Year Seminar on America's energy future. A member of the Materials Research Society, he serves as a referee for the Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics. ​
