Craig is a Bass-Baritone that has been seen with orchestras and opera companies across the country including Central City Opera, Charlottesville Opera, Kentucky Opera, and Opera Saratoga. He has been awarded prizes in vocal competitions including the Metropolitan Opera National Council and Orpheus National Vocal Competition. In concert he has performed with organizations including the Owensboro Symphony, the Greenville Symphony, the Greenville Chorale, the Florence Masterworks Choir, the Bach Ascending concert series, and Varna International. He holds degrees in voice from Furman (BM), Manhattan School of Music (MM), and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of South Carolina. Craig is thrilled to be able to share his passion for singing with a new generation of Furman students.

Research Interests

His primary research interest is the intersection of music and sexuality. His research document “Time’s Up: How Opera is Facing its Own Me Too Movement” has been featured in the Journal of Singing, at the 2021 National Opera Association Virtual conference and at the 2022 National Association of Teachers of Singing Conference. He will be a featured panelist at the 2024 National Association of Teachers of Singing Conference.
