Measles is a highly contagious respiratory virus that can cause serious illness and disrupt campus life. Even a single case is considered a public health priority.<\/p>\n<p>According to the CDC, unvaccinated college students are at increased risk of infection with measles compared to the general population. Furman University requires that all students provide health and immunization records as a condition of enrollment at the University.
