When will I get a new one?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Most staff computers are on a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/offices-services\/information-technology-services\/faculty-staff-resources\/technology-life-cycle\/\"><strong>replacement cycle<\/strong><\/a>. We replace computers on an as-needed basis.\u00a0 If you are having issues with your computer, please contact the IT Service Center to have it evaluated.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>I&#8217;ve hired a\u00a0new employee. Can they please get their account information?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>New accounts (user name and password) are created automatically once Human Resources enters a new hire&#8217;s employment information.\u00a0\u00a0 The username and password are sent automatically, in separate emails, by Workday to the personal email account of the new employee.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Who should I call about _________?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>No single ITS staff member\u00a0knows everything about Furman information technology. Each ITS staff member is responsible for a number of\u00a0IT services and has secondary responsibilities as well.\u00a0That&#8217;s how\u00a0we can provide quick solutions when\u00a0some\u00a0ITS staff\u00a0need to be\u00a0away.
