As you know, faculty and staff are required annually to complete an online course on preventing and addressing sexual misconduct, which contains important information about your responsibilities if a student or another employee reports concerns regarding sexual misconduct.\u00a0 Furman partners with Get Inclusive, a company whose vision is to create more inclusive and empathetic communities, to provide this important training.\u00a0 On September 18, you will be assigned the sexual harassment training module from Get Inclusive, “Harassment Prevention and Title IX.”\u00a0 You may access the training via the myFurman portal.\u00a0 Click on \u201cA to Z Index\u201d on the left side of the screen, then \u201cHarassment Training\u201d and use your single sign-on network ID and password.\u00a0 Click on the \u201cHarassment Prevention and Title IX\u201d<\/strong> training, The deadline is October 31.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Furman faculty and staff are encouraged to take a few minutes to review Furman\u2019s Sexual Misconduct Policy at www.furman.edu\/titleIX<\/a>.\u00a0 This policy provides resources and support for those reporting sexual misconduct, as well as a fair and thorough process for investigating and resolving complaints.\u00a0 For questions regarding the policy, please contact Title IX and ADA Coordinator, Melissa Nichols<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Furman is committed to maintaining and strengthening a community founded on civility and respect.
