If you have any questions regarding the Tuition Benefit programs offered, please contact <a href=\"mailto:susan.cooper@furman.edu\">Susan Cooper<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Furman Tuition Benefit<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; Available to full-time employees and their eligible dependents that meet the admissions requirements for the undergraduate or graduate programs at Furman and are enrolled to complete a degree. Please note the graduate tuition benefit is a taxable benefit.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/na4.docusign.net\/Member\/PowerFormSigning.aspx?PowerFormId=b9ee21fb-0c8f-4c14-8622-b57c9e6faaa7&amp;env=na4&amp;acct=77ea3871-9a40-4bea-ae38-2a654e455745&amp;v=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tuition Benefit Request Form<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Tuition Scholarship Grant<\/strong><\/em> &#8211;\u00a0 a cash tuition scholarship available to dependent children of full-time faculty or staff who are full-time students pursuing a degree at an accredited undergraduate two-year or four-year institution. \u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/na4.docusign.net\/Member\/PowerFormSigning.aspx?PowerFormId=b9ee21fb-0c8f-4c14-8622-b57c9e6faaa7&amp;env=na4&amp;acct=77ea3871-9a40-4bea-ae38-2a654e455745&amp;v=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tuition Benefit Request Form<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/financial-aid\/aid-types\/tuition-exchange-programs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tuition Exchange Programs<\/a><\/em><\/strong>&#8211; available for dependent children of full-time faculty and staff with other private colleges of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acsouth.edu\/acs-tep\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Associated Colleges of the South<\/a> and with colleges in the <a href=\"https:\/\/tuitionexchange.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tuition Exchange, Inc<\/a>. Dependents are eligible to apply for a Tuition Exchange award but are not guaranteed a scholarship.\u00a0 To notify Furman that your dependent is\/may be applying to a TE or ACS Exchange institution, please complete Furman&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/na4.docusign.net\/Member\/PowerFormSigning.aspx?PowerFormId=b9ee21fb-0c8f-4c14-8622-b57c9e6faaa7&amp;env=na4&amp;acct=77ea3871-9a40-4bea-ae38-2a654e455745&amp;v=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tuition Benefit Request Form<\/a>.\u00a0 Your dependent must complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/tuitionexchange.org\/how-to-apply\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TE application<\/a> on the Tuition Exchange website.\u00a0 For the ACS Exchange schools, Furman&#8217;s Office of Admissions will submit the application on behalf of the student.\u00a0 If your dependent is applying to Furman <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">and<\/span> TE\/ACS Exchange institutions, you can indicate both options on one Tuition Benefit Request Form.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Job-Related Tuition Reimbursement<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; available to all full-time staff who attend accredited institutions, other than Furman, and take job-related courses. The university will reimburse the employee up to $750 per semester and up to a maximum of $1500 per year for courses that have been pre-approved by the department manager and a Human Resources representative. A grade of &#8220;C&#8221; or better must be obtained to receive reimbursement.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/na4.docusign.net\/Member\/PowerFormSigning.aspx?PowerFormId=07b3cfbc-35f4-4884-a6b3-4165733476a5&amp;env=na4&amp;acct=77ea3871-9a40-4bea-ae38-2a654e455745&amp;v=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Job-Related Tuition Reimbursement Request Form<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/offices-services\/human-resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/63\/2025\/08\/2025-Tuition-Presentation.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2025-26 Tuition Benefits Presentation<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Furman has partnered with TIAA and Savi, a social impact company, to bring you a tool and a service to help you successfully navigate federal programs like Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) and income-driven repayment plans.<\/p>\n<p>The digital platform, along with phone and chat support, puts federal and state programs at your fingertips.\u00a0 There are two service tiers available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A free calculator to assess your situation and get guidance on the best options available.<\/li>\n<li>An optional fee-based service to administer the program\u2019s ongoing paperwork requirements including annual reenrollment, employer certifications, and filing for PSLF credits with the Department of Ed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Find out more information and to see if you qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness by clicking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiaa.org\/public\/tcm\/furman\/student\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The university makes tuition benefits available after two years of service to full-time employees and their eligible dependents.
