Local news outlets cover the partnership between Furman University and pre-professional soccer club, USL W\u2019s Greenville Liberty SC, sister team to the Greenville Triumph Soccer Club, a men\u2019s professional team. The partnership will allow the Liberty to use Furman\u2019s athletics facilities, including Eugene Stone Soccer Stadium and auxiliary fields, to train in the preseason and regular season.<\/p>\n
The squad includes former Paladins Caitlin Reilly ’20 (health sciences) and Grace Baghdady ’22 (public health), and current Furman Women’s Soccer teammates Camryn Bolick ’24 (health sciences, pre-dental) and Cameron Whitacre ’23 (health sciences, pre-health). The club\u2019s first home match takes place 7 p.m. Friday, May 20, against NC Courage U23 at Legacy Early College in Greenville’s West End.
