{"id":9862,"date":"2022-04-25T14:30:31","date_gmt":"2022-04-25T14:30:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/news\/2022\/04\/27\/8th-annual-dins-day-to-be-held-on-april-26\/"},"modified":"2022-09-07T15:47:31","modified_gmt":"2022-09-07T19:47:31","slug":"8th-annual-dins-day-to-be-held-on-april-26","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/news\/8th-annual-dins-day-to-be-held-on-april-26\/","title":{"rendered":"8th Annual Dins Day is April 26"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>DINS DAY IS April 26, 2022! <a href=\"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/dinsday\">Please give to support Furman students and faculty<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Furman University students, alumni, parents and friends will kick off the eighth annual Dins Day, a 24-hour celebration of Paladin pride and philanthropy, on Tuesday, April 26.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGifts of all size \u2013 from $10 to $10,000 \u2013 make an immediate impact on Furman and its students,\u201d said Gloria Goosby, Furman\u2019s director of annual giving. &#8220;When the Furman Family unites, they open doors for our students to further dive into experiential learning opportunities, broaden their academic horizons and continue to change the world around them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dins Day events are returning after a hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions. Furman FAN Clubs will be holding events in the following cities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Athens, Georgia<\/li>\n<li>Atlanta, Georgia<\/li>\n<li>Birmingham, Alabama<\/li>\n<li>Charleston, South Carolina<\/li>\n<li>Charlotte, North Carolina<\/li>\n<li>Chattanooga, Tennessee<\/li>\n<li>Denver, Colorado<\/li>\n<li>Greenville, South Carolina<\/li>\n<li>Lexington, Kentucky<\/li>\n<li>New York City, New York<\/li>\n<li>Raleigh, North Carolina<\/li>\n<li>Richmond, Virginia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Furman alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students and Friends of Furman can register for a Dins Day FAN Club event <a href=\"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/dinsday\">here<\/a>.
