Citing a promise made by the protagonist in &#8220;All Quiet on the Western Front,&#8221; McKibben wrote, &#8220;Whether hatred or greed or some other complexity of politics and power provoked the assault on Ukraine, I pray that more of us will make that same vow to fight against that which causes us to attack others and, rather, put our energy into loving.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A biology and pre-med major at Furman, McKibben is an ordained minister and pastor of Tallahassee Fellowship.
