Two students with Furman University connections are in the news for having won Southeast Student Production Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences – the same folks who dole out Emmy Awards.<\/p>\n
Advised by Mary Sturgill in the Department of Communication Studies, Alexis Hildenbrandt \u201922 and Luke Harvin \u201921 worked as one-person crews for their documentaries, handling video, sound, editing and narration, using equipment from the department\u2019s media lab.<\/p>\n
