In an article appearing in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.postandcourier.com\/politics\/sc-republicans-see-donations-rise-by-taking-on-culture-war-ahead-of-2022-reelection-bids\/article_f14043fa-a39f-11eb-bbbd-ffd0b24fbe23.html\">The Post and Courier<\/a><\/strong>, the politics and international affairs professor offered her take on Republicans&#8217; growing affinity for Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think part of that [phenomenon] speaks to a bit of an identity crisis right now within the Republican Party,\u201d Vinson said. \u201cThere\u2019s not a lot of reacting to some of the policy proposals that are coming out, because those are kind of wonky, and they don\u2019t really make good fundraising pitches.
