{"id":9313,"date":"2021-04-23T13:18:42","date_gmt":"2021-04-23T13:18:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/news\/2021\/04\/27\/dins-day-is-back-for-its-seventh-year-on-april-27\/"},"modified":"2022-09-07T15:40:14","modified_gmt":"2022-09-07T19:40:14","slug":"dins-day-is-back-for-its-seventh-year-on-april-27","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/news\/dins-day-is-back-for-its-seventh-year-on-april-27\/","title":{"rendered":"Dins Day is back for its seventh year on April 27"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>DINS DAY IS TODAY! <a href=\"https:\/\/www.givecampus.com\/schools\/FurmanUniversity\/dins-day-2021\">Please give to support Furman students and faculty<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Furman University students, alumni, parents and friends will kick off the seventh annual Dins Day, a 24-hour celebration of Paladin pride and philanthropy, on Tuesday, April 27.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Whether donors gift $50, $5,000 or $50,000, they can be assured they are making a positive impact on the daily experience of Furman students and ability of faculty and staff to deliver an unparalleled educational experience,\u201d said\u00a0Gloria Goosby, Furman&#8217;s director of annual giving.<\/p>\n<p>In adherence to Furman Focused COVID-19 guidelines, no events will be held on campus or at satellite locations with the Furman Advantage Network Clubs, but Furman family and friends are invited to participate in trivia, a Zoom workout class and a midday, livestreamed cooking lesson with Furman First Gentleman Charles Davis.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Furman alumni are encouraged to post images to social media of themselves in their Furman gear and the \u201cI Gave\u201d social media image that is provided to all donors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI&#8217;m excited to see all members of the Furman family rally for the areas that mean the most to them while helping advance The Furman Advantage,\u201d said Goosby.<\/p>\n<p>For more information and to give, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/dinsday\"><strong>Dins Day website<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>or contact Gloria Goosby at gloria.goosby@furman.edu.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DINS DAY IS TODAY!
