Once again, Furman University has been recognized as one of the top colleges in the country where students are making a difference in the world.<\/p>\n
This year, Furman ranked 15th<\/a> in The Princeton Review\u2019s list of \u201cThe Top 20 Best Schools for Making an Impact\u201d in its \u201cBest Value Colleges\u201d guide, which includes the country\u2019s top 200 universities with the best return on investment. According to the publication, all schools on the list offer stellar academics, affordable cost and strong career prospects for graduates.<\/p>\n The ranking is based on student ratings and responses to survey questions covering community service opportunities, student government, sustainability efforts and on-campus student engagement, according to The Princeton Review\u2019s website<\/a>. The ranking also considered the percentage of alumni who have reported having meaningful jobs.<\/p>\n According to surveys conducted from fall 2019 through fall 2020, students spend \u201ca lot of time thinking about academics, classes, and their future,\u201d but they also \u201cinvest a lot of time in their relationships with their friends.\u201d The campus was also called an \u201cinclusive, close-knit community\u201d where there are \u201clots of interesting things to do on campus, from music concerts to improv shows to sports games.\u201d<\/p>\n
