The weeklong celebration that began Oct. 17 and ran until Oct. 24 included a Student Alumni Council (SAC) chalking contest, athletic team scrimmages as part of the department&#8217;s Purple and White Week, FUSAB&#8217;s three-day &#8220;DIN it to WIN it&#8221; event, in which two students from each class competed for a trophy, $500 in prizes, bragging rights and a Waffle House food truck night for 250 members of the winning class, and a Rollin&#8217; Dins Parade co-sponsored by SAC and FUSAB.<\/p>\n<p>All events were approved by the Fall Planning Steering Committee and Public Health and Safety Advisory Group, in accordance with our campus event policies and guidelines as well as Furman&#8217;s health and safety protocols.
