The Republican side of the tussle blamed the incident on the &#8216;radical left,&#8217; while the Democratic side suggested the gunfire was staged by the Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>Furman University&#8217;s Danielle Vinson &#8217;89, a professor of politics and international affairs, commented in an article appearing in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.postandcourier.com\/politics\/sc-party-leaders-trade-anti-police-racist-jabs-over-gunshot-fired-into-local-gop-office\/article_d24189de-fe8e-11ea-8c55-2724dfc85837.html\">The Post and Courier<\/a> <\/strong>about the verbal brawl.\u00a0\u201cNeither side has handled this in the way this ought to have been handled. They could have been two reasonable adults and waited&#8230;for the results of the investigation.
