Recent polls show the candidate edging closer to Joe Biden&#8217;s strong foothold in the state, but the consensus among voters is that Warren needs to be more active in the Palmetto State to have success in the primaries.<\/p>\n<p>Byrd spoke to Warren supporter Andrew Wynkoop, a senior psychology major at Furman University who got behind Bernie Sanders in 2016. \u201cI envision myself eventually supporting Warren over anyone else, so I\u2019m holding her to a standard where she needs to show me that I can do that.
