The study was conducted by Furman Earth and Environmental Sciences Professor Courtney Quinn and Sustainability Science Professor Matthew Cohen in conjunction with the Hispanic Alliance.<\/p>\n<p>Among other findings, the report shows that 20 percent of Hispanic households live below the federal poverty line, and may have a tougher time securing higher education and higher paying jobs.
