Only 7 percent\u00a0of the nation\u2019s four-year colleges made it into the guide.<\/p><\/div>\n

The Princeton Review chose the 200 schools based on a comprehensive analysis of data from its surveys of administrators at more than 650 colleges in 2017-18. Survey topics covered academics, cost, financial aid, career services, graduation rates, student debt and alumni support.<\/p>\n
The publication also factored in data from its surveys of students and PayScale.com surveys of alumni about their job satisfaction.<\/p>\n
Princeton Review Editor-in-Chief Robert Franek said the selected schools are known for their outstanding academics and affordability, and that only 7 percent of the nation\u2019s four-year colleges made it into the guide. \u201cStudents at these colleges also have access to extraordinary career services from their freshman year on, plus a lifetime of valuable alumni support,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
