When the Furman football team opened its season at Clemson on Saturday the national media spotlight was on the No. 2 Tigers, who were the highest-ranked opponent in the 113-year history of the Paladin program.<\/p>\n

Marty Smith interviewed Furman head coach Clay Hendrix as part of the Harris Roberts story.<\/p><\/div>\n

But Furman senior quarterback Harris Roberts, who just happens to be a full-time Clemson student when he\u2019s not playing football for the Paladins, gave Clemson coach Dabo Swinney\u2019s team a run for its money in terms of pre-game publicity. And if you\u2019re wondering how it\u2019s possible for a student at one school to suit up for the opposition on game day, you\u2019re no different than the national sports media.<\/p>\n
