Attendees heard about ways to join the charge in supporting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.furman.edu\/furman-advantage\/\">The Furman Advantage<\/a>, which guarantees every student an unparalleled education of classroom learning combined with real-world experiences and self-discovery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a pleasure to engage our D.C. alumni and parents, as we discussed how they can take an active role in the success of The Furman Advantage,\u201d Sheilds said. \u201cThe strength of the Furman network only furthers the measurable success of our students.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Remarks were followed by an open floor discussion, which heavily focused on internship and mentoring opportunities for students in the D.C. marketplace.
