Dilworth \u201983 of Nashville, Tn., founder and CEO of VIDA Recovery Centers; Robert E. Hill \u201983 of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl., vice chair, board of directors, Acosta Sales and Marketing Company; Stanford J. Jennings \u201984 of Alpharetta, Ga., Regional Sales Manager-Midwest for New Balance Athletics, Inc.; Rachelle Harley Thompson \u201992 of Cary, N.C., attorney with McGuire Woods LLP; David J. Trone \u201977 of Potomac, Md., owner and Chief Executive Officer of Total Wine &amp; More; and John C. Yates of Atlanta, Ga., partner with Morris Manning &amp; Martin LLP.<\/p>\n<p>Hill, Jennings, Trone and Yates have served previous terms on the board.<\/p>\n<p>The Furman Board of Trustees provides leadership and guidance to the university while shaping its goals, policies and practices. The board meets three times each academic year. Members are elected to serve three-year terms and are eligible to serve two successive terms.
