Brent Nelsen, professor of Politics and International Affairs at Furman, will talk about \u201cAmerican Foreign Policy in the Age of Donald J. Trump\u201d when he speaks at the university\u2019s High Noon fall lecture series Wednesday, October 25.<\/p>\n

His talk begins at noon at the Upcountry History Museum-Furman. It is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

Has President Trump changed the direction of American foreign policy? What has changed, and what has remained the same? How are the world powers adjusting?\u00a0 Dr. Nelsen will answer these questions and more as he evaluates the first 10 months of the Trump era.<\/p>\n

Nelsen\u2019s talk is the third of four lectures in the fall series.\u00a0 Furman Communication Studies professors John Armstrong and Brandon Inabinet will close the series on Nov. 1 with a talk about \u201cfake news\u201d and the new media environment.<\/p>\n
