Tickets for the student-produced event are $5 (cash or check); and admission is free for Furman Theatre Season ticket holders.<\/p>\n<p><em>Danny and the Deep Blue Sea<\/em> is described as \u201cAn explosive, deeply affecting study of alienation and the redemptive power of love.\u201d It features Furman senior Elli Caterisano as Roberta and Sam Nelson (Class of 2017) as Danny.<\/p>\n<p>Howlround.com says the play \u201ctells the story of two strangers (Danny and Roberta) who, after a hesitant, defensive initial meeting in a Bronx bar, bob and weave in a three-scene-long \u2018apache dance\u2019 (a violent dance for two people, according to Shanley\u2019s stage directions) towards forgiveness and ownership over their lives.
