His performance is open to the public. Tickets are $15 for the public and are available through Ticketmaster. Tickets are $5 for Furman students and faculty\/staff with a valid ID, and are available at the FUSAB office.<\/p>\n<p>Mike Birbiglia is a comedian, writer, actor and director known for his highly personal approach to comedy. Described as one of the busiest working comedians, he serves as creator, writer and star of the film <em>Don\u2019t Think Twice<\/em> which was released in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>He was recently seen in the fourth season of Netflix\u2019s <em>Orange is the New Black<\/em> and Universal Pictures\u2019 <em>Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping<\/em>. Birbiglia also recently completed a 100-city tour with his stand-up show, \u201cThank God for Jokes,\u201d which he later parlayed into an Off-Broadway run at The Lynn Redgrave Theater.<\/p>\n<p>Birbiglia came onto the scene in 2012 with his Sundance award-winning directorial debut <em>Sleepwalk With Me<\/em>. Birbiglia started as a stand-up comedian and has reached the height of his field\u2014an international touring solo theater act, which blends elements of theater, film, storytelling, and stand-up comedy.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, his work has appeared on National Public Radio\u2019s \u201cThis American Life,\u201d where he began a collaboration with host and producer Ira Glass. Birbiglia\u2019s first one-man show \u201cSleepwalk With Me\u201d was presented by Broadway legend Nathan Lane.
