Anthony, a political science major who played for the Paladins from 1999-2002, and served as associate head coach and recruiting coordinator for Furman soccer said, \u00a0&#8220;&#8230; everybody I talked to \u2013\u00a0coaches, players, parents \u2013\u00a0we all kind of just knew there was this huge need for an indoor soccer facility.&#8221; His wife Olivia, a communications studies and Spanish major who has\u00a0 a background in health and wellness and outreach from her time working at Greenville Health System, said, &#8220;[Soccer is]\u00a0a language that speaks to all of our communities, just like music and art.&#8221; The goal of the indoor soccer park is to bring attention to a long &#8220;neglected&#8221; community, according to a story that ran in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenvilleonline.com\/story\/news\/2017\/08\/11\/copa-indoor-soccer\/446625001\/\"><strong>The Greenville News<\/strong><\/a>.
