Terrell, a 2012 Furman University Politics and International Affairs and Philosophy graduate, originally co-founded PG to support male black teachers in Charlotte-Mecklenburg (N.C.) schools.<\/p>\n<p>The SEED20 competition is an initiative of Social Venture Partners, a group that identifies 20 socially-minded nonprofit programs in the Charlotte area, and coaches the social entrepreneurs to create three-minute pitches for their initiatives. The top 10 programs battle it out at the SEED20 Onstage event.<\/p>\n<p>With co-founder Mario Jovan Shaw, Profound Gentlemen now has 125 men participating and 10 impact leaders who work in six cities: Charlotte, Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Memphis and Washington, D.C.
