Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for students. The events are also part of Furman\u2019s Cultural Life Program. The Singers will present traditional favorites and new choral music from both the sacred and secular repertoire including \u201cPrayers from the Ark\u201d by Ivor R. Davies. Tickets for the closing concerts at Furman may be purchased by phone or through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/furman-music-featured-events-tickets-28424307870\">Eventbrite<\/a> (small processing fee applies).<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>About the Furman Singers<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nFounded in 1946 by DuPre Rhame, and conducted by Bingham Vick, Jr. from 1970-2010, the Furman Singers choir is recognized as one of America\u2019s premier collegiate ensembles, touring annually throughout the East and the Southeast United States, performing for churches and schools and other public functions. Under the direction of Hugh Ferguson Floyd, the choir presents concerts and performances on campus, including two major performances with the Furman Symphony Orchestra.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning in 1974, biennial summer concert tours abroad have taken Furman Singers to many of the great churches and cathedrals of Europe. In 1990, the Furman Singers visited Moscow and was the first choir since 1917 to sing in the historic Cathedral of the Assumption inside the Kremlin. Recently, the Singers performed in Salzburg, Vienna, Prague, Dublin, Cardiff and London.
