Furman University will host several speakers during a TEDx event, which takes place Saturday, Feb. 11, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Younts Conference Center, on the Furman campus.<\/p>\n
\u201cTEDxFurmanU: Uncharted Territory\u201d is open to the public. Tickets are $5 with a valid Furman ID and $15 (plus small processing fee) for the general public. A lunch of heavy hors d\u2019oeuvres is included with the purchase of a ticket.<\/p>\n
TEDxFurmanU is a student-run, independently-organized TED event affiliated with student organization Furman Creative Collaborative. This year, TEDxFurmanU invites speakers who have research or innovations that explore the Uncharted Territory; speakers with ideas that have not yet been explored, and ideas viewed through a new lens.<\/p>\n
