Tickets are $5 with a valid Furman ID and $15 (plus small processing fee) for the general public. A lunch of heavy hors d\u2019oeuvres is included with the purchase of a ticket.<\/p>\n<p>TEDxFurmanU is a student-run, independently-organized TED event affiliated with student organization Furman Creative Collaborative. This year, TEDxFurmanU invites speakers who have research or innovations that explore the Uncharted Territory; speakers with ideas that have not yet been explored, and ideas viewed through a new lens.<\/p>\n<p>A schedule of events follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Session I (10 a.m.-11:30 a.m.) <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Matt Stewar<\/strong>t, Success Coach, Center for Arts and Technology, \u201cHow We Are Preparing the Next Generation\u201d<br \/>\n<strong>Kristen Murdaugh<\/strong>, Class of 2017* \u201cTalking about Talking: The Science of the Voice\u201d<br \/>\n<strong>John E.
