Profound Gentlemen is a Charlotte, N.C.-based nonprofit group founded by Terrell and Mario Jovan Shaw. The work of the two men, who were recently named to Forbes\u2019 \u201c30-Under-30,\u201d was featured in <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.charlotteobserver.com\/news\/local\/education\/your-schools-blog\/article129603999.html\">The Charlotte Observer<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0Terrell graduated from Furman with a B.A. degree in political science and philosophy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Furman alum Jason Terrell \u201912 is garnering lots of attention for his nonprofit organization that works to improve the future of young black men by supporting African-American male teachers.
