In a production Shurley describes as &#8220;not so\u00a0much a narrative&#8221; but an &#8220;extended meditation,&#8221; he writes about how the characters &#8220;speak their feelings directly using heightened language, with a small \u201cchorus\u201d of women often echoing and overlapping each other as they offer comfort or support.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He doles out credit to the director and \u00a0crew saying, &#8220;Director Tromsness is known for creating unique soundscapes and intriguing visual textures, &#8230; In a small, intimate space, Tromsness truly creates a sense of scale, a sense of the misty hills of Scotland, through Alan Bryson\u2019s spare set, Margaret Rose Caterisano\u2019s flowing costumes, Dakota Adams\u2019 atmospheric lights, and J.
