That, according to <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.insidephilanthropy.com\/home\/2016\/10\/12\/not-without-a-fight-a-major-funder-and-a-savvy-college-team.html\">Inside Philanthropy<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, is very good news for the liberal arts. \u201cIt&#8217;s one of the biggest gifts we&#8217;ve seen yet from funders who believe in the liberal arts and are keen to help colleges bolster such education\u2014and also to better market the liberal arts to students, parents, and donors alike,\u201d wrote Mike Scutari.\u00a0 \u201cAs we&#8217;ve reported, the takeover of higher ed by STEM-crazed administrators and donors is not happening without a fight.
