In a <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenvilleonline.com\/story\/opinion\/readers\/2016\/09\/18\/commentary-reassess-relationship-israel\/90373074\/\">Greenville News<\/a> <\/em>opinion piece, he says our special treatment of Israel and its political interests have strained relationships with others in the region, namely Palestinians. He says, \u201cBecoming an honest broker in the Israel-Arab disputes will not solve all our challenges in the Middle East, but it will go its due distance.
