Weilun Xu, the founder of\u00a0Furman\u2019s ping pong club, was named Club Sport Athlete of the Year last Wednesday. Xu, a senior, won the National Collegiate Table Tennis Association\u2019s (NCTTA) Georgia Division in January. He compiled a 2-4 record at the NCTTA South Regionals in March. At nationals, held April 13-14 in Plano, Texas, Xu finished a respectable second in the tournament\u2019s consolation bracket, which included 27 competitors.
