Green Day represents Greenville\u2019s unofficial birthday when the Greenville Drive and city officials gather to celebrate the things that make Greenville exceptional. Davis, who will retire after the 2026-2027 academic year, was selected for her &#8220;forward-focused leadership&#8221; and for pioneering major community and educational initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Learn more about Davis&#8217; legacy over her 12 years at the helm in an announcement appearing on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.milb.com\/news\/2026-green-day-honoree\">Major League Baseball<\/a> website.
